The AKF series Karl Fischer moisture analyzer is a fully automatic volumetric Karl Fischer moisture analyzer with independent intellectual property rights designed and developed by Shanghai Hegong Scientific Instrument Co., Ltd. The instrument adopts Karl Fischer titration method as the analysis principle, and uses Hegong's unique design and humanized control system. The instrument has good sealing, high detection accuracy, good repeatability of measurement results, wide measurement range, and high degree of automation. It can be used to accurately analyze crystalline water, adsorbed water, and free water in solid, liquid, and gas samples. The AKF series Karl Fischer moisture analyzer has multiple innovative technologies and received support from the National Science and Technology Commission in 2010, as well as funding from Shanghai's science and technology projects. ---Measurement method---
1. Inject approximately 40ml of anhydrous methanol solvent into the titration cell using the "solvent absorption" function of the instrument,
2. Titrate to the endpoint using the "blank" function of the instrument to remove moisture from the titration cell. The instrument is ready and maintains the endpoint state.
3. Accurately extract 10 μ L of pure water using a dried micro injection needle, wipe the needle dry, and place it on a balance for weighing. Select the instrument calibration function, inject pure water below the liquid level in the titration cell, wipe the needle dry, and place it on the balance for weighing. Enter the difference between the two weighings as the weight of pure water and start calibration.
4. Repeat step 3 and measure 3-5 times. The instrument will automatically save the calibration results and calculate the average value as the titration degree of the reagent.
5. Extract a certain amount of sample with a sampling needle and add it to the titration cell. Input the difference in weight of the sampling needle before and after injection into the instrument as the sample injection volume, and start measuring.
